Forssa museum is located in an old cotton warehouse (built 1849) in the centre of the historic Forssa Spinning Mill Area, nowadays a lively cultural centre for visitors, travellers and local residents. The museum has two different exhibitions. The permanent exhibition The City of Colourful Cloth tells the history of Forssa, its people, and its factories, and an art gallery hosts monthly changing exhibitions.
Forssa museum was elected as a Museum of the year 2014, and was a nominee for the European Museum 2015.
